The Last Days of Israel

For quite a few chapters now, Israel has been circling the bottom of the drain and her time is finally up. For over two hundred years, the northern kingdom of Israel, both her kings and her citizens, have rejected Yahweh over and over again. The Lord has been extremely patient. He has warned His people, He has sent prophets to them, and He has even performed amazing miracles on their behalf. Yet Israel still rejects their God. Unfortunately, there is no happy ending or Disney Princess version of this story. It is tragic. It is depressing. However, it is informative (1 Cor. 10:11) and there are lessons we can learn as the people of God.
