The Sending

Speaker: Chris Martin Series: Luke - The Gospel For Everyone Passage: Luke 10:1–24

This Sunday, we return to the gospel of Luke. This book uniquely reveals that the gospel of Jesus is a gospel for everyone. This week’s lesson (chapter 10) emphasizes a gospel even for the irreligious and those far from God. What are the implications of this reality for you and me? Does it means a mission for us? In our text, Jesus sends seventy-two people out on mission. What could they expect? What should we expect? We'll translate their mission to ours as we, too, try to follow the Master.
