Is the Bible Anti-Women?

Memes, TV shows, and really smart people make the claim that "without a doubt," "it’s 100% certain," "it’s virtually dogma" that the Bible is anti-women. We saw it on placards during the abortion debate by those protesting the Supreme Court’s recent ruling.  Certainly, it seems, the Bible teaches that women should be "put in their place." But is that really the case? Is the Bible patriarchal? Is that the entire story?
