In the final message in our series, Wait...That's in the Bible?, we will explore the popular conception that the God of the Old Testament is all about justice and wrath--that He is violent and bloodthirsty. Jesus of the New Testament, however, is all about love and acceptance. These pictures don't mesh. Which is it? Is God temperamental? Are love and justice irreconcilable? This impression left unexamined is damaging to Christians and non-Christians alike.
