Jesus the Victor

What does it mean that God made us fully alive through Christ? What victories did He secure for me? What enemies did He disarm? Exactly how can I experience victory over the things that keep me bound? The young Christians in Colossae were not convinced Jesus was enough. The same is often true for us. Seeking a new program, spiritual experience, or teacher, we try in vain to fill what only Jesus can fill. Through Jesus, there is a power and presence available not only to a few special believers, but to everyone.
