“God made you alive with Christ.” - Colossians 2:15 The young Christians in this city were facing cultural and religious pressures, causing them to slide back into old and comfortable ways of living. Paul was not content to let this happen. In losing their new identity in Christ, they were severing themselves from the benefits of the gospel. To help them, the apostle digs deeper into who Jesus is, the meaning of a resurrected life, and the radical transformation of family and community.
