The Gift of Mercy and Sheperding

As we are nearing the end of our series, Welcoming the Gifts of the Spirit, this week we will explore two more gifts. The gift of mercy and the gift of shepherding. One of the defining characteristics of Christians should be that we are people who show mercy.  This makes sense to us because we have a merciful God and a Savior who demonstrated mercy on the cross. As we explore this gift we will find that it actually goes beyond compassion for another person. We will also explore why the gift of shepherding is so important to the Body of Christ.
