The Cross vs The World

Jesus said it this way, "You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored?  It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet."

The Corinthians were a church at risk.  They were losing their saltiness. What does salt do? It preserves, and it creates a thirst. They were doing neither. They were not preserving the integrity of the message, nor were they living the kind of life that would create a spiritual thirst.

The American church is also at risk. We are losing our saltiness and the integrity of the message is being pressed from every side. There is no better time than this to dive headlong into this book and its Spirit-inspired wisdom.
