Matthew 5:17-20
Speaker: Rich Hendricks Series: The Gospel According to Matthew Passage: Matthew 5:17–20
In the next section of our study in the Gospel of Matthew, we come across scripture thick with challenging questions to answer. Questions like: "What did Jesus mean by saying that he did not come to abolish the law and the prophets, but to fulfill them? If that's the case, what is our relationship to the OT law, do we still have to keep it?" Or, "Are there rankings in heaven when it says that some are called greatest and least in God's kingdom?" And then finally, "Does our righteousness have to surpass that of the Pharisees to enter the kingdom of heaven? How is that possible?"
