Daniel five begins abruptly with the introduction of a new King in Babylon -- a King twenty-five years removed from Nebuchadnezzar. God invades the palace of this new King creating a story-line that parallels Nebuchadnezzar's, except that the outcome is tragically different. Daniel, now an older man, will feature heavily in this account that begs to ask why this King's life and legacy ended so badly. ... and abruptly.
