Partnering with God through All His Gifts

In this series, we have described the person and power of the Holy Spirit. He is God’s Empowered Presence coming alongside of us—to fill us, speak to us, and give us courage. We learned in the last message that the kingdom Jesus proclaimed—God’s rule and reign—has already broken into the world and is giving us a foretaste of the coming age. A part of that kingdom breaking in is the distribution of spiritual gifts so each and every one of us can participate in the expansion of God’s Kingdom—the Great Commission. This week marks a pivot in our series as we begin to discuss the specific gifts, including the sign and miraculous gifts.
