Practicing the Presence

Before exploring the gifts, we learn about the Person of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit, as one scholar put it, is "God’s Empowered Presence." Each word has significance. In the last message, Pastor Nick focused on "empowered." In this message, we will focus on "presence." The Holy Spirit is the very presence of God in and among us. We are never alone, and we are invited to practice His presence every day of our lives no matter where we are. Your office, your car, or your kitchen can become a sacred place. This is a habit we can learn. It's habit we can grow in.
