All throughout the letter to the Ephesians, Paul has been painting a beautiful picture for us of what the gospel is and how it has fundamentally changed our identity, which in turn changes the way that we live. Because of that, everything is easy-peasy, right? Well, not quite. Paul has mentioned a few times that there is an enemy who is out to hinder and oppose God’s purposes and people. As he closes this letter, he dives into this subject in a much greater way. There is an enemy, and he is dangerous, but the resources available to us are sufficient for the battle in which we are engaged!
