False Teachers

Speaker: Nick Carruthers Series: Titus: The Power of Doing Good

In the last several years, there has been all kinds of research around the amount of information and data that people take in. One study from several years ago argued that the average person takes in as much information and data every day as watching 16 movies. Whether it is television, cell phones, podcasts, books, or YouTube, the amount of information that we take in is enormous. With that we are exposed to all kinds of different voices and teachers. Many of them are great and beneficial, but certainly some of them are harmful. In the second part of chapter one, Paul begins to instruct Titus on how to identify and deal with false teachers who have infiltrated the church. The same concern exists in our own day, perhaps even more so, and therefore the church needs to be equipped on how to spot false teaching.
