Learning Contentment

If there was a survey across the U.S. that asked people to use one word to describe the average American, the word which most likely would not come up is the word content. Many of us have bought the lie that our contentment is tied to our possessions, prestige, or a pain-free life. According to Paul in Philippians Chapter 4, that’s not where contentment is found. Contentment is not found in our circumstances, but it is found in Christ.
