Warning Signs

We live in world in which lawsuits and litigation lurk around every corner. Because of that, companies go out of their way to issue warning signs and warning labels. Some of them are annoying and even ridiculous, but others are important and necessary. In many ways, the book of Proverbs is a series of warning signs to us--to protect us and lead us into the path of wisdom. In Proverbs 6:1-19, Solomon shares with his son three practical, everyday life warnings in the areas of money, work, and wickedness. Through the scriptures, God issues warnings for us, not because he is afraid to get sued, but because he loves us.
