Why Church? Dealing with Disunity

December 6, 2020 Speaker: Series: Ecclesia

We live in unprecedented times…how sick of that saying are you? Who knows if we are truly living in unprecedented times or not? One thing that we are experiencing that is not unprecedented is disunity. As you read through the Bible, one of the things you discover is that it has a lot to say about unity. That is because staying united with others is really hard. Even the early church struggled with unity, and the Apostle Paul addressed it so many times in his letters. In Romans Chapter 14, Paul gets specific in dealing with disunity in the church. In this message, we will try to answer a series of questions around unity. What does Christian unity look like and how do we strive for it? Why strive for it--why fight for unity?
