Each week there are a dozen alternative things we could do instead of coming to Church. We could sleep in, go to brunch with friends, do yard work, etc. Not only that, but coming to church week after week is hard, it’s inconvenient, and it takes sacrifice. With all of that in mind, I think we have to ask the question, "why bother?" Why commit ourselves to a local church? Why make belonging to a church a priority?
