An Ordinary King

In the last message, Pastor Rich Hendricks outlined why Israel’s first king failed. Yet even while Saul’s life was beginning to unravel, there was a small boy from a small town whose heart God was capturing. As the youngest of eight boys, nobody expected anything great from this boy. But despite his ordinary beginning, God was with him and setting him apart. His name was David and his life reveals what God can do through an ordinary person to bless a nation. This story foreshadows another ordinary King who would bless the world.
