In the second half of Chapter 6, the Apostle Paul begins to address more specifically the area of sexual immorality. The Corinthians were very confused about the topic of sex, and in this chapter Paul attempts to correct some of their misconceptions, particularly their misunderstanding of the physical body. These ancient church members in the city of Corinth aren’t the only ones confused in this area of sex. So are we today, in our culture. We appear more loose and free in the area of sex, and yet brokenness and disappointment prevail. What if the God who invented sex and gave it to us as a gift has something to say to us on this topic?
