The middle school ministry is designed to help students in grades 6-8 deepen their walk with God, have fun, build friendships with one another, and learn to reach out to others. Our main meeting is during the 11:15am Sunday morning service. These meetings are high energy and usually consist of videos, games, teaching and small groups. We provide a place where kids feel loved and accepted while challenging them to live for God and grow closer to Him. We do not meet on the first Sunday of every month.
We also do evangelism and service projects throughout the year, have a lock-in during the winter, have an annual fall conference, and have monthly events to help build a family atmosphere. Our ministry team is a combination of parents, high school students and college students. Middle school ministry is very rewarding and we are always looking for people of all ages to get involved.
"Middle school is such a formative and impressionable time, and it is one of the most important windows for a person to begin a relationship with Jesus. My wife and I consider it our calling in life to invest in young people and help them discover who God is and who He made them to be. Additionally, students at this age are beginning to ask questions about what they believe and why. It is a great privilege to partner with you to help your kids develop strong foundations at this age."
