The middle school ministry is designed to help students in grades 6-8 deepen their walk with God, have fun, build friendships with one another, and learn to reach out to others. Our main meeting is during the 11:15am Sunday morning service. These meetings are high energy and usually consist of videos, games, teaching and small groups. We provide a place where kids feel loved and accepted while challenging them to live for God and grow closer to Him. We do not meet on the first Sunday of every month.
We also do evangelism and service projects throughout the year, have a lock-in during the winter, have an annual fall conference, and have monthly events to help build a family atmosphere. Our ministry team is a combination of parents, high school students and college students. Middle school ministry is very rewarding and we are always looking for people of all ages to get involved.
"Middle school is a great time to start to figure out who you are as an individual and who God is calling you to be. The bible tells us to 'work out our own faith in fear and trembling' and I believe that during the formative years of 6th through 8th grade we are primed to begin that journey of figuring out who God is and what He's called us to be. Our goal with LifeLine Middle School Ministry is to encourage students to grow in the people that God has called them to be, and learn more about their Savior. I love working with middle school students, as I am basically a giant middle school student, myself."
