Easter: Hope

One author summed up the power of hope concisely: “Human beings can live for forty days without food, four days without water, and four minutes without air. But we cannot live four seconds without hope.” When it comes to hope, secular psychologists and faith-based communicators agree - hope is essential and without it we quickly break down. When Christians re-tell the story of Easter, they are describing a story of hope. And that hope is more than a wish - it plants a foot in real space-time history.
