We are almost finished with John's Gospel. We have ventured through the story of Jesus, gaining fresh vision on his identity as the Perfect Son. With authority equal to the Father's, he intimately helps us reclaim our lives and live them as they were meant to be lived. With John 21 playing the part of the credits at the end of a movie, it is left to the skeptic of The Twelve, Thomas, to give us the clearest, most personal, and most dramatic confession. It's a compelling story aiding us in grasping the value of, but also the limits of, doubt.
