One on One Mentoring
The intent of this ministry is to help every believer have a solid foundation for living out his/her faith. To do this, we pair up newer or younger believers with more experienced believers. They agree to meet six times using a pre-set curriculum as a point of reference. If you are interested in being mentored or being a mentor, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Wednesday, August 15, 6:30pm
It's not too late to join this class designed to introduce our friends to Jesus Christ. We'll begin with dinner at 6:30pm, then watch an "Alpha" video followed by table discussions. This is a great way to help a friend (or yourself) learn the basics of the Christian faith. Please RSVP to the church office with your name and the number of people coming with you. Don't miss out on this excellent opportunity to partner together in the gospel!
Thursday, August 16, 6:30pm
We will gather to inspire, empower, and release the God-given creativity in all of us. We know you’ll have unique input and enjoy a little something special we’ve got planned. If you’re not sure if Creative Night is for you, just come anyway! We would love for you to check it out and experience for yourself what God might already be stirring up within you. If you have questions, or want to be added to the emails, contact Kim at email@example.com.
Saturday, August 25, 9am-2pm
This retreat, for life group and ministry leaders alike, will focus on reconnecting us as leaders as we go into the new ministry year. God is working at Linworth and we want to move together. A light breakfast and boxed lunch will be provided. We will meet at the Worthington Community Center from 9 to 2 and finish the afternoon with some fun on the softball field. Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org.
