Christmas Coffee
Starting this
Sunday December 3

Support a great work while giving a coffee-loving friend a tasty gift! This coffee is grown in Honduras by a member of our sister church there, and purchased by Friendly Bean coffee (Kansas City) who roasts, packages, and makes it available to us. Friendly Bean donates 50% of the profits from this coffee to Casa Hogar Vida (House-Home-Life), which is a project in Honduras helping families affected by AIDS. Each one pound bag of coffee is $8.50. Check out the table in the Fellowship Hall for more information.

Prayer for East Asia Trip
Saturday, December 9

After Christmas, a team from LRC will travel to East Asia. One opportunity for you to unite in prayer for the team and the needs in East Asia will occur on December 9 from 9-11am at LRC. Pastor Chris will describe the urgent needs in East Asia, including those the team hopes to address. Exposure to need and prayer are practical ways for you to increase the global slice of your life--why not join us?

Christmas Giving Tree
Sunday December 10

This year our Christmas Giving Tree will be directed to the refugee families at the Whispering Oaks apartment complex. We would like to provide each child with a toy, and give each family a Kroger gift card. Visit the Giving Tree in the lobby starting December 10 and take a tag detailing the gender and age of a child. Please return your gift by Wednesday December 20. Thank you for being part of loving our community in Jesus' name.

Christmas Caroling
Saturday, December 16, 5-6:

'Tis the season to go caroling! Join us as we extend door to door invitations to our Christmas Eve services via carolers. Christmas caroling has been a well-received holiday tradition that wraps our invitation with festive charm. Email the church office if you would like more information about joining this merry band of carolers.

Christmas Eve Services
Sunday, December 24, 5 and

Join us on Christmas Eve and invite a friend! We will have two services, 5 and 7pm. Childcare for infants to age 5 will be available at the 5pm service only.

ESL Opportunity

We are continuing our ministry at the Whispering Oaks apartment complex by offering English as a Second Language (ESL) help for adults, on Saturdays from 12-2pm. This is a new outreach, so details are still being worked out, but more volunteers are welcome. Volunteers will help with set up and be paired with students to practice conversational English. Email office@linworthroadchurch.com for more information.
